The French Society for Metallurgy and Materials is honored to host you at its 2025 Annual Conference, to be convened in Villeneuve d'Ascq in the Hauts-de-France region at the esteemed Centrale Lille Institut.
These events are part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Society.

These days provide a unique opportunity to engage in discussions on a broad range of topics related to Materials Science, while also allowing for in-depth exploration of selected themes.
This year, particular emphasis will be placed on the following three thematic areas:
Materials for Health,
Additive Manufacturing of Large-Scale Components: Applications in Transportation and Energy,
Attractiveness of Careers in Materials Science: What Opportunities for Young People?
These themes will be addressed through round-table discussions, technical workshops, and site/laboratory visits.
Additionally, a poster session will be held to showcase research on other topics within the field of Materials Science.
